The Gooding County Board of Commissioners approved three procedural motions during its Aug. 3 regular session.
The board approved a BS&R Equipment Company quote of $1,237.12 to replace a failed air conditioner in the county jail kitchen. Commissioner Vern Eames moved to approve the quote and Commissioner Ron Buhler seconded; the motion carried.
Commissioner Mark E. Bolduc moved that Commissioner Vern Eames run the planning & zoning applicant interviews on behalf of the Board. Commissioner Buhler seconded and the motion carried; Human Resources representative Sara Berling will coordinate scheduling.
The Board also approved the minutes from its July 27, 2026 meeting after a motion from Commissioner Eames, seconded by Commissioner Buhler; the motion carried.
Each of these actions was recorded as formal motions on the meeting record and carried by unanimous consent in the session transcript.
