District operations staff updated the board on Cordell Mason Road and nearby Hudson Estate work. An operations official described the current field condition and said grading was scheduled for the coming week, weather permitting, with asphalt to follow: "They're gonna start grading ... and then, asphalt will be Thursday and Friday as well."
He cautioned that asphalt contractors often scale back in November and that final timing could stretch into spring if the subdivision developer delays, but staff said they expect contracting with JE Dunn and subsequent site clean-up to begin as soon as the school year starts and crews are available. The item was presented as an operational update; board members asked staff to continue coordinating with the city and developers to minimize student-traffic impacts once school begins.
