Midway City board to seek details before committing to Westminster CDBG cleanup partnership

Board members said they were interested in partnership but wanted clarity on the City's proposed activities and how those events might overlap with existing District cleanup work. The Board voted unanimously (5-0) to direct the general manager to discuss details with City staff and return to the Board with additional information.
Directors raised concerns about scope and implementation and asked staff to clarify responsibilities and resource commitments before approving participation. The motion to request follow-up was made by President Chi Charlie Nguyen and seconded by Director Tyler Diep prior to Diep leaving the meeting later; staff will bring a detailed proposal back for Board consideration.
