The Kinderhook Board approved several event and facility requests on May 14. KBPA asked permission to order and pay for an additional port-a-potty for the May 24 Village Yard Sale and the board approved the purchase at KBPA expense. Trustees also approved a Kinderhook Pride Celebration on June 14 at the Village Square and bandstand (applicants required to return the bandstand barricade to reopen the road by 6 p.m.), use requests from Morey Hall for a piano rehearsal and recital, the African American Archive and Martin Van Buren Historic Site for a June 8 event and field-use requests from Northern Columba Little League for April–July practices and games.
Trustee Montagano motioned to accept all six applications and Trustee Patterson seconded; the board voted unanimously "Aye." Trustee Wildermuth discussed banner sizing concerns for an OK5K race banner and the mayor noted visibility constraints on the bandstand.
