At the July 13 meeting Mayor Allen Sanderson and council members approved several personnel and board appointments. Council reappointed Michael Evans to a two‑year term as Municipal Court Judge (motion by Ernie Quintana, second by Kevin Hayes), and approved reappointments of Rusty Deets and Warren Jamieson and appointment of H Compton to the Planning & Zoning Commission (motion by Sam Fox, second by Kevin Hayes); each vote was unanimous.
Sarah Osburn announced Officer Curtis Humphreys of the Bonham Police Department as Employee of the Quarter for Q2 2026. In a separate action Ross Altobelli presented appointments to the Comprehensive Plan Advisory Task Force; council approved a slate that includes Mayor Allen Sanderson, Councilmen Clark Smith and Ernie Quintana, and several community members, and directed BISD trustees to select one school‑board member to serve on the task force.
Council recorded no dissent on these personnel and appointment actions.
