Ross Altobelli said the property—currently split between Multifamily (A‑2) and CBD—would be entirely CBD to permit an arts and crafts retail use in a 1,200‑square‑foot accessory building while keeping the primary residence in the main structure.
Altobelli said the property can accommodate the required eight off‑street parking spaces (six for the business and two for the residence). The Planning & Zoning Commission had recommended approval. Council member Ernie Quintana moved to approve the rezoning, Wolf Laughing seconded, and the motion carried 6‑0.
