Trustees discussed contract pricing and multiyear discounts; administration said the six-year contract results in a significantly lower annual cost than renewing year-to-year, explaining that multi‑year pricing saves roughly $600,000 over six years compared with annual purchasing.
The motion to approve the math curriculum passed with all trustees present. Administration credited the teacher-led pilot committee for recommending the materials and said final purchase documents would follow procurement procedures.
