The committee approved payments for several engineering invoices: Lockwood, Andrews & Newnam ($13,849.69) for tank and lift station renderings; RJN Group ($10,438.15) for sanitary sewer rehabilitation renderings; and Strand Associates ($19,536.04) for CIPP lining projects and an Alternative Water Supplier Analysis. All payments were moved by Chairman Brennan, seconded by Alderman Begley, and approved by voice vote.
The committee also approved a proposal with Strand Associates not to exceed $21,500 for Risk and Resilience Assessment (RRA) and Emergency Response Plan (ERP) updates. Director Joe Smith noted that "This report is mandated by federal law when you have a population over 3,000," and said the cost is in the budget.
