Mayor Buckley reported the village held its first all-staff meeting to discuss open projects and workload distribution. Trustees Novak and Mateja presented a staffing-analysis chart that the minutes say shows average hours over the past two years consistent with 1.5 full-time equivalent (FTE) positions. The board will review job descriptions and backup coverage to determine whether a Deputy Clerk position is needed.
Clerk Kelly Novak and trustees will use the compiled hour totals and time-allocation charts to draft a job description and make a staffing recommendation. Mayor Buckley also reminded trustees to complete the Statement of Economic Interest form before the May 1 deadline.
