Renee, reporting for staff, said the Pearson invoice totaled $11,358 and requested authorization for the city controller to expend those funds from the parks reserve. Commissioners approved the request by roll call. The commission briefly discussed whether an additional transfer motion was required; staff reviewed budget lines and confirmed the expense is covered in the budget, so only the authorization was recorded.
The approval clears payment to the vendor and allows staff to complete the park refurbishment work, which staff told the commission included new shade and court upgrades.
