The Village of Davis Board voted Oct. 14 to approve an updated ordinance book that consolidates recent changes to municipal rules, including new language on water rates, odd/even snow-parking restrictions and games-of-chance provisions. The board called the vote after staff reported those changes were incorporated.
Steve (staff member) told the board the updated ordinance book was ready after several revisions. The motion to adopt the update was carried on a roll-call vote described in the minutes as unanimous; all five members present approved the update. With the general ordinance book complete, board members noted staff will now begin separate work to update the zoning ordinance book.
The adoption formalizes multiple administrative updates and clears the way for staff to focus on zoning-specific revisions and other procedural follow-ups. No specific ordinance numbers were listed in the minutes.
