Davis board selects workout stations and court colors; bids to go out in August

Fehr Graham presented park-improvement plans to the board; after reviewing options the board selected specific outdoor workout stations and court colors. The workout equipment chosen includes: Incline sit-up/crunch sit-up; Back Extension/Back Stretch; Leg Stretch; Plyo Jump; and a Multi-Use Pole (with bands, suspension, battle ropes). The board also chose court colors: tennis courts in light gray, and pickleball and basketball courts in gray and red.
The board directed staff to solicit bids in August and to award contracts in September so construction could begin in the spring. No contract awards or budget figures were recorded in the minutes.
