Village of Davis board approves consent agenda, sets schedule for water-main bids and park work

At its July 7 meeting the Village of Davis board approved the consent agenda, authorized sale of an unused police vehicle, scheduled water-main project bids for October with openings at the December meeting, and selected park workout equipment and court colors with bids to be issued in August.
The Village of Davis board convened July 7, 2025, at 7:05 PM and approved the consent agenda, which included the June meeting minutes, the Treasurer’s Report, bills to be paid and a late utility list. President Olson conducted roll call; the consent agenda passed on a motion by board member Brittney Kunz, seconded by board member Jodie Pieper.
Board members addressed several operational items. The board agreed to begin the process to sell an unused police squad car estimated at $15,000 after noting it needs a new battery and possibly tires. The board also set an extra trash pickup day for August 2, 2025, and reviewed plans to issue bids for park improvements and a water-main replacement project.
