Dakota approves WWTP change order; completion date pushed to Oct. 14

On a motion by Jeremy Knox, seconded by Ken Vrazsity, the Village of Dakota board approved Change Order #1 for the wastewater treatment plant project. The change order moves the project completion date from July 5 to Oct. 14 and extends the access road to improve meter access; the board was told there is no price change tied to the order.
Trustees reviewed the WWTP punch list: 31 items in total with 13 completed to date. The board said it will re-review the remaining punch list items before any final payment is disbursed and will solicit quotes for a protective structure to be placed over pumps to limit wear and tear.
