Supervisors approve 3% pay increases for township secretary and full-time employee

At the Jan. 6 meeting, Buffalo Township Supervisors approved a 3% pay increase for two positions. Supervisor Glenn Troup moved to raise the Secretary/Treasurer rate from $23.50 per hour to $24.20 per hour and to raise the full-time employee rate from $23.00 to $23.70; both motions were seconded by Todd Oberdorf and passed unanimously.
The board also voted to keep the part-time employee rate at $23.00 per hour. In addition, supervisors authorized paying for job-related trainings and conventions for elected officials and employees with supervisor approval; the motion to cover training costs was approved during the meeting.
