The Village of Davis board approved two raffle licenses during the Jan. 13 meeting. Rich Rote, representing the American Legion, requested a Class B raffle license to operate a Queen of Hearts raffle at PJ’s Corner Tap; the board approved the request by roll call with full board support.
Town and Country also requested a license to operate a 50/50 raffle during the Pancake Day event scheduled for Feb. 14. The board approved that license by roll call and chose not to require the license fee for the event.
