At the Sept. 8 meeting the board approved up to $600 to buy mower blades and spindles to keep an older mower operational. Jeremy Knox moved to authorize the expenditure, seconded by Otis Holley; minutes record the motion carried.
Trustees also recorded several follow-up operational tasks: Public Works lead Jeff Kluck will purchase a tongue lock for the generator trailer and replace stop sign poles using Menards supplies; Otis Holley will seek a quote from Cherry Signs for eight boil-order signs for village entrances; Andrew Workinger and Jeff Kluck will develop a pump-house power-outage Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) and obtain generator quotes for lift stations.
