On April 7 the Village of Dakota board approved a set of hourly wage increases for several village positions. Trustee Jeremy Knox moved and Otis Holley seconded motions that increased maintenance, labor and mowing positions from $20.00 per hour to $20.80 per hour; snowplowing pay from $30.00 per hour to $31.20 per hour; and the treasurer pay from $23.00 per hour to $24.15 per hour. All motions carried.
The wage decisions were presented as routine personnel adjustments; no funding source changes or budget amendments were recorded in the meeting minutes, and the motions were included among the new-business approvals.
