Dakota board approves $265,827.75 IEPA payment as wastewater project nears April finish

The Village of Dakota board on April 7 approved IEPA PWSL 17-4260 Request #9 in the amount of $265,827.75, including Kelsey Pay Application #7, Willett Hofmann & Associates invoice #38270 and CFPS, Inc. invoice #05. Trustee Jeremy Knox moved for approval; Otis Holley seconded and the motion carried.
President Jon Riley reported there were no additional updates to the wastewater treatment facility project and said it remains on schedule to be completed by the end of April 2025. The board discussed related payments and minor project logistics during the meeting but took no separate vote on the project timeline.
