Palco's council approved payment paperwork for the nitrate plant project during the June 10 meeting. Don Steeples moved to approve Woofter Pay App #8 and KDHE STWSIA DW11 Disbursement Request #7; Brandon Kuhn seconded and the motion carried 4-0.
Council also discussed the Northwest Kansas Planning & Development Commission contract for administrative services tied to the nitrate plant project and requested that the City Attorney be notified to provide legal advice on the next course of action. Superintendent Marvin Keller separately reported that existing electrical at the water wells is being removed and replaced as part of the same project.
