Palco fire chief reports possible pumper repair, ordered gear and upcoming events

Fire Chief/tenant manager Gregg Whisman told the council that a representative from Hays Fire indicated he might be able to repair the old pumper truck, which could remove the need to trade for a replacement. The department ordered three helmets, gloves and other equipment, to be paid from the Fire Department's account.
Chief Whisman also reminded the council of a Fish Fry fundraiser this month and noted the State Firefighter Conference is in April. He said the department had not set a date for a CPR class; Mayor Kyle Karlin asked about a potential 0% loan from Western Cooperative for a new truck and asked Marvin to gather paperwork if pursued.
