Daniel Brooks told the board that across the district’s three comprehensive high schools nearly 1,200 students took summer classes focused on credit recovery and college readiness, and that students achieved a "97 percent completion rate" while earning 8,652 credits toward graduation.
Brooks also highlighted college and career pathway work: about 300 students participated in dual-enrollment courses at Norco College and Riverside City College, and the district expanded CTE pathways including a medical-assistant boot camp and 40-hour immersive healthcare internships with community partner ReachOut to provide work-based learning.
