Henrico's Cobbs Creek reservoir project wins APWA Mid‑Atlantic Project of the Year

Vithoulkas noted that "The Virgil R. Hazelett Reservoir at Cobbs Creek is the County's 1,100 acres, 14.8-billion-gallon reservoir that secures the County's drinking water needs for at least the next 50 years," and thanked Public Works and project partners, including a nomination by Terrell Hughes. Bentley Chan thanked the manager, the Board and Public Works during the recognition. The board took no vote on the recognition; the announcement was given during the manager's comments.
