The board reviewed a $3,418 quote from Oliphant Locks and Safe to replace restroom locks in the park but decided to defer replacement until spring when a larger park project will begin. Trustees said the park project should start at the ball diamond so it will be ready for next year’s ball season.
Staff said some existing trees donated in memory of family members will have to be removed; the village will contact families and offer them the option to choose replacement trees from an approved list. Trustee Mike Wise said he would work on coordinating tree replacement and related communications with families.
