Council renews Classic Corner and Dollar General malt-beverage licenses

The council approved two malt-beverage license renewals on May 11. Councilmember Julie Lyon moved, and Brendon Bunjer seconded, approval of the 2026–2027 malt-beverage license for Classic Corner (Classic Convenience Inc., 201 S Main Ave); the motion passed on a unanimous roll-call vote. Lyon also moved, and Bunjer seconded, approval of the 2026–2027 malt-beverage license for Dollar General (Dolgen Midwest, LLC, 200 S Main Ave); that motion likewise passed unanimously.
License application paperwork for both businesses is in the meeting record. The Classic Corner application lists Classic Convenience Inc. as the owner; the Dollar General application records Dolgen Midwest, LLC as the applicant (store #18515). The council took no additional licensing conditions at the May 11 meeting.
