Colton council names Dakota Mainstem delegate, reviews upcoming meetings
Summary
Council designated Council Member Vande Voort as the primary delegate (and Public Works Superintendent Pedersen as alternate) for Dakota Mainstem and noted changes to local and regional meeting schedules including Sioux Valley Energy.
On a motion by Council Member Evans, seconded by Council Member Bunjer, the council designated Council Member Vande Voort as the primary delegate to Dakota Mainstem and Public Works Superintendent Pedersen as the alternate; the motion carried with all members voting aye.
Council also reviewed the Minnehaha County Sheriff's Office hours and discussed contacting the county about coverage times; noted the Sioux Valley Energy District 5 meeting will move to Tri‑Valley High School on April 21 with a complimentary meal at 5:30 p.m. and meeting at 7:00 p.m.; and confirmed the Equalization meeting at City Hall for Monday, March 16 at 6:00 p.m. Finance Officer Dawn Pilker said she will attend the SDML District 3 Annual Meeting in Lennox on March 24.
