The council approved Resolution R26-174 authorizing submission of an application to the Bergen County Open Space Trust Fund for Roosevelt Common lighting improvements. The resolution passed on a unanimous roll-call vote.
A resident asked whether guests would have access to the tennis courts; Mayor Mark Zinna replied there would be no membership requirements and Borough Administrator David P. Fanslau noted that pickleball and tennis reservations will be required for court use. Councilmember Dr. Julie O'Connor asked about lighting hours and Mr. Fanslau said he believed lights would turn off at 10 p.m. Staff will confirm technical lighting schedules and curfews as part of project design and grant application requirements.
