Fremont County updates: jobs, road striping, public‑health hours and employee picnic

Sean Sutton presented several administrative notices on behalf of Fremont County government. Job openings listed included an assistant supervisor for the Fremont County Department of Transportation (application deadline 08/24/2026) and a master control officer position in the sheriff’s department (application deadline 08/18/2026). Sutton also told the board that roadway striping work is underway in the Oak Creek grade and urged drivers to use caution around pilot vehicles and signage.
Sutton said Fremont County Public Health will open at 9 a.m. instead of 7 a.m. on the last Thursday of each month through the end of the year for staff professional development, and invited county employees and the public to the Fremont County Employee Appreciation Picnic on Aug. 18 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the County Administration Building. "For more information about employment opportunities with Fremont County government, please visit our county website at fremontcountyco.gov," Sutton said.
