Chair John Roleau opened a public hearing on the Town of New Haven’s Enhanced Energy Plan and, after hearing no public comment, moved to approve the final draft and place it before voters on August 11, 2026. The motion was seconded by Vice Chair Marie Jewett and passed unanimously, 5–0.
The hearing lasted only a few minutes and closed at 6:51 p.m. Placing the plan on the ballot starts the town-level review process that allows voters to accept the plan and its recommended energy policies. The Selectboard did not record any public testimony during the hearing.
