At its June 18 meeting the Rico Board of Trustees approved first reading of Ordinance No. 2025‑04 to set the title and content of a ballot issue seeking a sewer‑fund mill levy increase to appear on the Nov. 4, 2025 ballot. Town Manager Chauncey McCarthy summarized the proposal; the board instructed staff to ensure the ordinance reflects the full 3.93 mills for the Rico sewer levy.
