Information Technology Director Matt Ury told the committee the department is finalizing the 2027 budget while completing remaining ARPA-funded projects. He said some software vendors have increased pricing at annual renewals and recommended pursuing multi-year contracts to secure better pricing where feasible.
"It may be beneficial to pursue multi-year contracts for software subscriptions whenever possible," Ury said. He also reported that network switch replacements at the Nursing Home are complete, leaving only the Soil & Water Conservation District project outstanding.
