Auditor Lisa Smith asked the supervisors for motions to approve the Oct. 14, 2025 board proceedings and work session minutes and to authorize publication of the claims listing and warrants totaling $493,430.89.
"This morning, I need a motion to approve the minutes of the 10/14/2025 board proceedings and work session as written by auditor Smith and authorized publication of the official newspapers," Smith said. The board voted to approve the minutes and then moved and approved issuing warrants to publish the claims listing. The auditor flagged that the claims included about $70,000 related to Wapacoa for destination Iowa Prairie Creek Park and roughly $160,000 in rock and related materials for county projects.
Supervisors asked no substantive follow-up questions on the claims during the meeting and approved the requested motions by voice vote.
