The Lumberton ISD Board of Trustees entered executive session June 4 to consult with legal counsel and consider personnel and security matters, including a review of the district’s Safety & Security Audit Survey.
Trustee Kimberly Olexa moved that the board enter executive session at 8:55 P.M. under Texas Government Code sections 551.071 (consultation with attorney), 551.074 (personnel matters) and 551.076 (security devices or audits). The board reconvened at 9:26 P.M. The minutes state an "LISD Safety & Security Audit Survey Review - TEA Survey Questions" was presented in closed session; no findings or directives from that review were recorded in the public minutes. Resignations were noted as submitted under separate cover. Any follow-up or public reporting on the audit will depend on board direction and legal considerations.
