The Weatherford Municipal Utility Board approved an amendment to the Kimley Horn and Associates contract that adds $20,000 for development review services, bringing the contract total to $70,000 and adding to an aggregate fiscal-year spending authority of $1,199,500. Matt Leppler presented the request, saying the funds are needed to cover additional residential and commercial plan reviews and noting that these review dollars are reimbursable when projects proceed to construction.
Matt Leppler said, "So this amendment is for $20,000 additional funds that will help get us through the remainder of this fiscal year." Ken Davis moved approval and Lindsey Hester seconded; the mayor called the vote and the motion passed. Leppler provided background that Kimley Horn had reviewed 13 projects from 2024 to FY26 at a total cost of $147,000, with $41,000 repaid and one project's payment of $24,000 pending.
