Audubon County supervisors approve routine business, set budget amendment hearing

At its July 28 meeting the Audubon County Board of Supervisors approved several routine motions including DNR MMP updates and road pay estimates, and set a FY27 Budget Amendment hearing for Aug. 18, 2026 at 10:00 a.m. The board also received updates on behavioral-health services and local vaccination outreach.
The Audubon County Board of Supervisors convened at 9:02 a.m. on July 28, 2026. Chairman Kent Grabill called the meeting to order and the board approved the meeting agenda on a motion by Don Mosinski, seconded by Heath Hansen; the clerk recorded the vote as "all in favor." The board then approved the July 21, 2026 minutes and several routine administrative items.
Auditor Lisa Frederiksen told the board the State Auditor and an IMWCA auditor were scheduled to be on site through Thursday. The board approved an OCIO Driver License User Letter and voted to set a public meeting to consider FY27 Budget Amendment #1 for August 18, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. (Motion: Mosinski; Second: Hansen). The meeting adjourned at 11:24 a.m.
