The Mason Consolidated Schools Board of Education held its annual reorganizational session Jan. 7, 2026, appointing officers for the year and approving a revised meeting agenda. Rachel England nominated Otting for board president; roll-call votes showed Otting abstained while England, Nehrig and Waller voted in favor and the nomination carried as recorded by the minutes.
Board members also filled other officer roles: Nehrig nominated Waller for vice president and England nominated Fowler for treasurer; England was later nominated and approved as secretary. The board approved a revised agenda removing Student Accolades from Recognition on a motion by England supported by Waller. The minutes record the motions and roll-call results for transparency and official record-keeping.
