The Village of Kirkland adopted Ordinance 2026-06 on March 16 authorizing disposal of public-works surplus property by bid. Trustee Fruit moved approval and Trustee Chambers seconded; the motion passed on a voice vote.
Trustee Fruit asked staff to "use detailed descriptions and good pictures of the items for sale." The packet contains an equipment auction list (sewer-jetting trailer, generators, mowers, a Grumman step van and other vehicles and attachments) and miscellaneous items; the board authorized staff to proceed with competitive disposal in accordance with the ordinance.
