The Lammersville Joint Unified Governing Board unanimously approved hiring a slate of provisional internship permit teachers for the 2025–26 school year during its July 16 meeting. The personnel ratifications included Sofia Benson (CTE Culinary Arts), Winnie Chang (self‑contained classroom teacher), Jennifer Hague (CTE Biomedical), Danny Hernandez (7–8 grade teacher), Tori Johnson (self‑contained classroom teacher), Ashley Lam (kindergarten), Rosalie Manalo Corona (kindergarten), and additional hires across CTE and special‑education roles.
Staff noted annually that the district hires a number of PIPs to meet staffing needs and the board moved to approve the hires as part of the consent agenda. Trustee Pambo made the motion and Trustee Modi seconded; the motion carried 4–0 with one absent. The clerk read the list of new hires and the board welcomed them to the district.
