Parade awards and Veterans Day car-show plaques honor downtown volunteers and partners

Bill Zielag (car-show co-chair) and Tom Rosser (president) described the group's fundraising—about 80% of profits go to veteran groups and scholarships—and presented plaques of appreciation. Discover Bastrop staff and council accepted the awards and posed for photographs.
Discover Bastrop also read parade award winners for the Lighted Christmas Parade. Winners included Best Original Entry (Dinosaur Park), Best Emergency Vehicle Decoration (Bastrop Fire Department), Best Marching Band (Cedar Creek High School), and overall best entry Aqua Water Supply. Council thanked volunteers and event partners for their support.
