Royse City ISD staff presented several informational items to trustees on July 13, 2026. The School Health Advisory Council (SHAC) annual report was shared, Dr. Shelley Garrett presented a review of the 2026–27 Student Handbook, trustees received a report on student use of personal communication devices, and staff provided a special education update. These items were presented for board review and did not require formal board action at the meeting.
Dr. Shelley Garrett led the handbook review; the superintendent provided a summer update and other announcements to the board. The district indicated that the materials and full reports were included in the meeting packet for trustee review.
