Madisonville CISD outlines facilities work: PA system, fields, cooler repairs and gym plans

Superintendent Dr. West reported on a series of facilities projects and maintenance tasks across Madisonville CISD. He said the installation of the PA system in the main high school building should be completed by Friday, after which staff will connect the Ag building and the Competition Gym. Maintenance crews continue preparations around the baseball and softball fields, and work was done on the Elementary Child Nutrition cooler.
Dr. West also said Business Manager Kelley Terry will continue preparations for replacing the Competition Gym floor this summer and the district is looking into resurfacing the tennis courts in the same timeframe. Trustees received the update as informational; no board action was taken at the meeting.
