Board approves curriculum extensions, digital program renewals and routine consent items

The Lammersville Joint Unified board approved several routine and programmatic items during the April 16 meeting.
The board approved an annual interdistrict agreement to provide National School Lunch Program services to Mountain House Elementary School District for 2025–26. Trustees also approved the AB 1200 public disclosure form for a collective bargaining agreement with classified employees (CSEA) following staff recommendation. The board adopted the district safe schools plan and individual school safety plans for 2025–26 and approved the wellness plan for 2025–26.
The board approved one‑year extensions of instructional materials and programs: Benchmark Education (grades 3–6 ELA/ELD) for $74,087.88; Houghton Mifflin Harcourt (grades K–2 and 7–8 ELA/ELD) for $212,800.24; and a one‑year renewal with Imagine Learning for Edgenuity middle‑school accelerated math for $146,150. Staff said the shorter renewals provide flexibility while the district explores long‑term options. Each motion carried with 4 ayes, no nos and 1 absent.
