On Jan. 19 the Village Board unanimously approved Ordinance 2026-03 to adopt a raffle-license regime for the village, including a twofold increase in raffle fees. Trustee Ziegler moved the ordinance and Trustee Chambers seconded; the board recorded a yes vote from all members.
The meeting minutes state the ordinance included a "double increase in the raffle fees" but do not list the new fee amounts; the clerk's office will update the village fee schedule and publish the new rates. Trustees said the licensing measure standardizes village oversight of charitable and fundraising raffles.
