Council postpones two administrative code amendments to allow standard review interval

Two ordinances (8A and 8B) that would amend municipal code provisions on claims management and workers' compensation were called during the meeting but postponed so staff could allow the standard two-week interval after a work session. Councilman Donaldson said a short delay reduces the appearance of rushing items through and gives citizens time to review. Both postponement motions passed 8–1.
Council indicated these items would return at a future regular meeting after the standard review interval. No substantive policy changes were debated in chambers during the postponement vote.
