Town approves facility-use requests and surplus equipment sale posting
Summary
The board approved requests for pavilion use by Milton Marlboro Methodist Church and Community Center use by the Girl Scouts at no charge, and authorized the Highway Department to post a 2008 John Deere tractor (with flail mowers) for sale on Absolute Auctions.
The Town Board approved several administrative items on Aug. 26: permission for Milton Marlboro Methodist Church to use the town pavilion at no charge on Sept. 15 and permission for the Girl Scouts of the Hudson Valley to use the Community Center at no charge on Oct. 3. Both motions were moved, seconded and carried unanimously.
Supervisor Corcoran also read a letter from Highway Superintendent John Alonge requesting permission to post a 2008 John Deere tractor (including roadside flail mower and hitch flail mower) for sale on Absolute Auctions; the board approved the posting. These items were handled as routine workshop business and carried without recorded dissent.
