Board authorizes posting to fill Forrester Park manager position

Sanilac County authorized posting and filling a Forrester Park manager position (FA032-26) during the Feb. 17 meeting.
Commissioners moved and supported the authorization; the motion carried by voice vote. The personnel committee plans to review applicants and the county indicated three to four candidates had been reported at a prior meeting. "We approved a posting to fill the juvenile register position" and commissioners said the Forrester Park manager posting will also be handled and brought before finance in two weeks for formal payroll/finance steps.
Board members noted that the personnel committee will interview and that applicants will be reviewed in committee before final appointment. The action permits the county to begin recruitment and move forward with selecting park management staff.
