New bus service from Hillside Village to COA expected to begin soon, officials say

At the Feb. 19 meeting Director Catie Blake reported that Healthy Aging MV and the Vineyard Transit Authority plan to launch bus service from Hillside Village to the COA to support attendance at yoga, volleyball and lunch. Blake said the service is expected to begin soon and may start the next day.
The intended service aims to improve access for residents who need transportation to participate in COA programs. The COA will monitor ridership and coordinate scheduling with the transit provider once the service begins.
