COA reports EV trade-in plan; new bus service to link Hillside Village and senior center

The council was told Feb. 19 that the center's preferred electric-vehicle replacement model was unavailable, so the existing electric vehicle will remain in service and be offered as a trade-in when a replacement becomes available. Blake said charging equipment is already installed and that funding for the replacement was approved via a warrant article.
Blake also reported that Healthy Aging MV and the Vineyard Transit Authority (VTA) plan to launch a bus service from Hillside Village to the Council on Aging to support access to yoga, volleyball and lunch; she said the service was expected to begin soon, possibly the next day. No formal vote was recorded on the bus service in the minutes.
