Tisbury COA to replace electric vehicle; funding came via warrant article

The Council on Aging was told Feb. 19 that the center will proceed with an electric-vehicle replacement even though the preferred model is not currently available. Director Catie Blake said the center's existing electric vehicle has performed well and will be used as a trade-in; charging equipment is already in place.
Blake added that funding for the vehicle was approved via a warrant article, clearing the financial hurdle at the town level. The COA will pursue the replacement model when it becomes available and will use the approved warrant-article funds for the purchase.
