Manassas Park EDA approves agenda and minutes; bank balance reported at $2,986

The Manassas Park Economic Development Authority began its Aug. 5, 2006 meeting by approving the evening’s agenda and the minutes from the July 1, 2006 meeting by voice vote. Chair called for the motions, one member moved and another seconded; the board indicated approval by saying “aye.”
Treasurer Joshua McNeil presented the EDA’s July bank statement for the account at Atlantic Union Bank and said, “The current balance is at, $2,986.” McNeil noted the only July activity was a $7.74 interest credit and asked whether the board preferred receiving bank updates quarterly; the board agreed quarterly updates are acceptable. McNeil also said he will prepare an update on the EDA bond related to the B & B theater for the next meeting.
